Dear Steve,

Wanted to thank you for facilitating Mother’s move into Cresthaven East. Was it really just a week from when I phoned you from up north until the day I moved Mom into the apartment? Your quick action regarding going to see her at IHS and then calling me the next day was a Godsend. Both she and I are so happy that she is amongst caring people in a stimulating environment rather than in her condo with a live-in where she would be isolated and lonely.

I hope Mother chooses to make Cresthaven East a long term residence. She tells me she has made many friends and has mentioned that you have been very kind to her. Wishing you a healthy and happy holiday season.

Dear Mr. Mort Gelberd,

I want to thank you for all the services to me during my stay here. The meals were delicious and the waitresses served well and pleasantly. I also appreciated the housekeeping staff, especially Alesia. The two nurses who gave me my medicines, Satesia and Marcia were very accurate and helpful. Kathy Sands, the CNA, was very friendly and helpful.

It is with a great deal of mixed emotions that I write this letter. I have a heavy heart having lost my sister Myrna, but at the same time there is joy in my heart knowing that Myrna spent her final years at Cresthaven East. You and your entire staff made her feel at home, catered to her every need, and watched over her with tender loving care, resulting in her being happy and considering all of you as her family. I am ever so grateful and hope you will extend my thanks to all who cared abut her well-being. I keep thinking how fortunate I was in selecting Cresthaven East as Myrna’s home.

Thank you so much for your generosity and compassion and for the use of the hall at Cresthaven East. Cresthaven East was, after all, my Mother’s home and is my spiritual home. Thanks also for the concern you’ve always shown my Mom.

To the staff of Cresthaven East,

This letter is being written to you to thank all of you for making my mother, Edith Rubin’s year and half stay at your facility a very happy one. Every time we went to visit her, she was all smiles, said everyone likes her and that she liked everyone. We also noticed that the staff was always very caring and friendly.

We were very happy with the care our Mother, Cecile Sydow received at Cresthaven East. Everyone has been kind, caring and helpful. I found that the activities Susan provided my Mother was a pleasure!

Dear Cresthaven East Staff,

Enclosed please find Dad’s rent check for the month of July.

Today, my Dad left New York to return to Florida. The Nursing staff made his trip to New York very easy and enjoyable for me. The Nursing staff pre-packed all ten of my Dad’s medications and clearly labeled each vial which made the medication dispensing very easy for me.

I would just like to thank them for the daily care that they give to my Dad. And a special thanks you for the packaged medications that enabled my Dad to have a vacation here in New York.

I would like to thank everyone at Cresthaven East from Esther to Carrie to Sherry to Steve to Donna plus all at Special Care for the care and understanding that everyone gave to Sam and Marjorie Weinstein. You all have a tough job that is very, very well done.

I want to thank you and all of your staff. They have been wonderful to me the last 3 years and 8 months.

Your nursing staff are all great and above all, Donna, who has been with me from day one. The girls in the office, the waitresses and Lewis and his staff. My needs were all taken care of. Tim is great as are your security men. I always felt very secure living here. I will thank them for all that they have done. I almost left out Henry and Scott and Susan. I wish them all well. I will be back to visit and be with Edna. Special thanks to Ellie (nursing) if you should speak with her.

Dear Steve, Kari, Mort, and the Staff of Cresthaven East,

As the son-in-law of Sophie and Harry Sclair, I wish to express my heartfelt gratitude to all of the above for your most professional and caring service given to my mother and father-in-law. In the three and one-half months of their residency at Cresthaven East, my wife and I always observed wonderful and caring attention given to our parents.

Harry and Sophie are presently at Mariners Health, where they are also being attended with skilled nursing care.

Almost four years ago we brought my mother, Pauline Goldberg down to Florida to stay at Cresthaven East.

On behalf of my mother and her family, we want to express our thanks and deep appreciation for the wonderful care and attention she was given at Cresthaven East.

Pauline enjoyed her brunch and playing bingo and pokeno very much, even though in the last few months her interest in games declined.

We know what a difficult task it is to care for the elderly and we really appreciate all that you did for my mother.
